Park Place Hotel Dog Friendly Review
Park Place Hotel holds a failing F Roch Rank, which is a disappointing result given that it does offer some genuine basics for travelling with a dog. The second floor of its wing is set aside specifically for guests with dogs. There is no size or weight limit on dogs who stay, which is a welcome and unusually generous policy, and there are plenty of places within walking distance to walk your dog.
Dogs stay on that designated floor, the second floor of its wing, rather than being distributed throughout the building. You may leave your dog alone in the room, provided they do not cause a nuisance to other guests. There is a $50 per night fee for pets, which covers up to two dogs, and no damage deposit is required, and up to two dogs are permitted per room. Beyond the room itself and the walking routes nearby, the hotel does not set out further services for dogs during the stay.
The main restriction to plan around is that dogs are only permitted in specific rooms on that designated floor, not throughout the hotel. The hotel does not provide a dog bed, bowls, or toys, and there is no dog wash area, dog-walking service, or grooming arranged on site. Dogs are not allowed in the bar, the restaurant, the lounge, or on the terrace, and there is no garden for dogs to use. This stay suits an owner with a well behaved dog of any size who mainly needs a straightforward room and nearby walking spots, without expecting extra amenities or services. Owners hoping for on-site dog facilities, dining access with their dog, or arranged pet services should look elsewhere.
