The Vendue holds a disappointing D Roch Rank, which is a shame given some genuine strengths on offer for dog owners. Waterfront Park is only a short walk away and makes for a lovely daily walk, with White Point Garden nearby for a longer stroll. Dogs also receive a welcome treat on arrival, a nice touch for a first impression.
In practical terms, the room comes with food and water bowls provided as part of the hotel's pet amenities, and your dog's welcome treat awaits at check in. There is a $120 one-time pet fee, which is fair for a stay that includes certified dog friendly status and central park access, and there is no separate damage deposit required. Dogs are allowed up to two per room. Biscuits are allowed in the hotel lobby during the wine art reception, a specific and pleasant exception rather than a general run of the house.
